Material & care
Waschen: Bis max. 30°C auf links, waschen mit ähnlichen Farben
Waschmittel: Ein umweltschonendes Colorwaschmittel mit guter Waschwirkung & Farberhaltung, kein Vollwaschmittel
Bleichen: Kein Bleichmittel Waschpulver verwenden
Trocknen: Nicht im Wäschetrockner trocknen
Bügeln: Beim Bügeln nicht über Motive & Stickereien bügeln
Hinweis: bei erstmaligem Waschgang ist mit einem Einlaufwert von etwa 3-4% zu rechnen.
Beachte beim Waschen von Baumwolle, dass die Trommel Deiner Waschmaschine nicht zu voll ist. Bei überladenen Waschmaschinen kommt es zu Reibungen, wodurch die Kleidung schneller verschleißt. Es empfiehlt sich außerdem, die Wäsche direkt nach dem Waschvorgang zu entnehmen.
Optimal trocknet die Wäsche, auf der Leine oder dem Wäscheständer, an einem Ort mit gutem Luftzug und Schutz vor Sonneneinstrahlung. Vorher kann der Stoff einige Male ausgeschüttelt und behutsam in Form gezogen werden. Wer Beulen oder Druckstellen im Stoff vermeiden möchte, sollte aber keine Wäscheklammern verwenden, oder die Kleidung sogar im Liegen trocknen.
Das Bügeln lässt sich bei Baumwolle wegen ihrer „Knitteranfälligkeit“ manchmal nicht vermeiden. Generell lassen sich Knitterfalten am besten entfernen, wenn der Stoff direkt nach dem Waschen noch etwas feucht gebügelt wird. Dafür stellst Du das Bügeleisen auf eine niedrige Temperatur (maximal bis 200°C) und bügelst die Kleidung trocken. Über 200°C solltest Du das Bügeleisen allerdings nicht stellen, da die Baumwolle einlaufen könnte. Für eine gute Farbbeständigkeit solltest Du den Stoff mit möglichst geringer Temperatur und evtl. etwas Feuchtigkeit auf links bügeln.
Auch den Trockner möchte die Baumwolle nicht von innen sehen, da sie aufgrund ihrer Beschaffenheit keine chemische Ausrüstung hat und dadurch einlaufen könnte.
Falls sich doch einmal ein Fleck auf eurem Kleidungsstück zeigen sollte, musst Du immer erst die Farbechtheit (also ob das Kleidungsstück ausbleichen kann), auf der Innenseite überprüfen. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist, greifst Du zu Gallseife oder einem Reiniger mit Panamarinden-Extrakt, um den Fleck damit zu behandeln. Dafür wird das jeweilige Mittel auf den Fleck gerieben und anschließend in der Waschmaschine gewaschen. Du solltest auf keinen Fall Flecken-Benzin benutzen, da Du sonst Ausbleichungen förderst oder sogar Löcher entstehen können.

How are our prices made up?
This breakdown is based on our figures from 2023 and we want to show you transparently why sustainable clothing has its price.
You're probably wondering why the plus size items cost a little more than our other products. Unfortunately, we had to make them a little more expensive because they cost significantly more to produce. The fabric consumption for the product itself is just one aspect of this. There is also a much higher amount of waste. This occurs when cutting the patterns to size and is significantly greater than the production of XS-XXL products from a single piece of fabric. The subsequent processing steps, including ironing, also require more effort. Our production costs are currently around 25% higher. We are currently working closely with our local producers to optimize these processes and are trying to reduce waste as a first step. The large sizes are a new but exciting challenge for both us and our producers.
