So that you also know which seals and certificates our garments have been awarded, we have created an overview for you here. Our aim is to have as many production steps and parts of our supply chain verified by labels as possible in the future and will therefore continue to place great emphasis on optimizing our production process in terms of sustainability.
GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard
This label distinguishes organic fibers as well as social standards that must be adhered to during the manufacturing process. The beauty of this label is that it covers all stages of processing, from the production of raw materials, spinning, weaving, knitting and sewing of the yarns and fabrics to the transportation of the finished products to the retailer.
BCI - Better Cotton Initiative
The aim of this label is to improve environmental and working conditions in cotton cultivation. Growers must meet entry criteria and be able to demonstrate improvements. Around 12% of global cotton production was BCI-certified in 2016.
OEKO-TEX® Standard
MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® is a traceable product seal for all types of textiles that have been produced in environmentally friendly factories and in safe and socially responsible workplaces. The MADE IN GREEN seal also gives consumers the certainty that the textile product is made from materials that have been tested for harmful substances.
GRS - Global Recycled Standard
The GRS aims to increase the proportion of recycled materials in a product. The standard enables companies to record the exact proportion of recycled material in a product and track it through the production chain. Companies working with this standard must ensure that at least 20 percent of the product consists of recycled materials.
OCS - Organic Content Standard
The Organic Content Standard is an international, voluntary standard that companies can use to record the exact proportion of certified organic materials in a product and track it through the production chain. The standard is used to verify organically grown raw materials from the farm to the end product.
